Update: het ontging Abdul Haq Compier, die mij ook bovenstaande tekst aanreikte, niet dat het de Nederlandse boodschappers der slaapt-u-vooral-door-consensus volkomen ontging dat er iets gaande is in de Verenigde Staten. Terwijl de voorverkiezingen en de zogeheten “strijd” tussen Obama en Clinton tot een mate van hysterie in de Nederlandse massamedia leidden die werkelijk onbegrijpelijk is, vond de naam van impeacher en presidentskandidaat Dennis Kucinich zeer sporadisch zijn weg in de krant, evenals die van andere kandidaten die nog iets verfrissends te melden hadden, zoals Ron Paul. De mooie ogen van Barack Obama zullen de ultra-kritische beschouwers van de slijpstenen der geest wel verblind hebben zodat ze helemaal vergaten zich af te vragen wanneer deze vogel nog eens iets inhoudelijks gaat zeggen.

Lieve kwaliteitskranten, zullen wij gewoon maar stoppen met u lastig vallen? Belooft u dan dat u uiteindelijk zelf de weg van de trekschuit zult kiezen?
